Innovations to create a community of care

Many seniors are attracted to assisted living communities because of the social activities they offer. Yet they still may struggle with loneliness and its negative impacts on mental and physical health. And the pandemic only made the problem worse. 

On the positive side, the public health crisis fueled innovative and often simple programs for senior living communities. These have the potential to improve behavioral health care for residents in the long term. Here's how we can move forward with what we've learned.
